AP and Honors Classes
Menlo-Atherton High School offers 23+ Advanced Placement (AP) courses. We continue to expand our AP offerings so that more of our student population will be exposed to the challenge of college-level work through the Advanced Placement curriculum.
We typically administer over 1800 AP tests by over 700 students with the vast majority scoring a passing grade of 3 or higher and many scoring a top grade of 5.

We offer two other honors classes; AS English III Honors and Chinese IV Honors. These accelerated classes offer an extra point toward a student’s GPA like AP classes. Please note, that an earned grade of a D or F does not give the student the extra point.
