M-A Summer School 

 

Summer School Bell Schedule

There will be 2 sessions of summer school. Classes will be in person and held from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm daily. 

 

Session I: Friday, June 12 - Thursday, July 2, 2026

No classes June 19 and July 3

Session 2: Monday, July 6 - Thursday, July 23, 2026

Principal: Jesus Cervantes

 

 

Students have already received or will soon receive a letter with their schedule and more specific program information. Make sure to read the letter and complete any attached/linked forms. 

 

General education summer school courses are only available for CREDIT RECOVERY for classes students have failed. If space permits, students who received a "D" in an A-G course may enroll in the program. If a course is filled, the student will be dropped from the class. Alternative options will be presented, if available.

 

Courses offered:

Select A-G courses for Biology, English, Ethnic Studies, World History, Life Skills

Select ESL courses

EdGenuity credit recovery

Extended School Year courses for ILS, STARS

 

 

Absence and behavior policy:

Students and their parents will be required to sign the Summer School Behavior Contract and bring it signed on the first day of Summer School.

 

Students can only miss up to 10 hours of school per session. At the 10th hour of absence (or 2 days), the student will be dropped from the class and will not receive any credit.  For quarter classes (PE, Life Skills, Ethnic Studies quarter) the maximum hours of absence is 5 (1 day). Per EdCode there are no exceptions to this rule.

Summer school will take place mostly in the G-Wing. The summer school office is G-3. Ext 59098

The main office will be closed in July.
